TRISH IS LEAVING THE BAND...

Trish who was a founding member of the band has
sadly left us. Our Gig at South Brent Con Club
was her last. She is off to South Wales to live
with her
Family and we'd all like to wish her, Matt and the
Kids the best of
luck, to have fun and to take care.

It was all rather quick and we are all sad to see
her go. We'll be watching her closely and expect
to hear about her "New" band before to long...

Ta Ta Trish....We love you ....

A LITTLE UPDATE ON WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO.

Well folks we've not been sitting on our bottoms
for the last few months. We've recorded our first
CD which includes "Walking on Sunshine","Drove all
Night" and "Black Velvet. Although the quality is
good not all of us are happy with the mix and when
we get the chance I think we'll be looking at it
again.
The Gigs have been regular with us playing in a
tent at the RAF St Mawgan Combined Mess Summer
Ball, the Trispen fun day and most recently at
Cubert Village Hall. That place has the
worst accustics in the world. It's like playing in
the bath..not that there's enough room in a bath
for all of us of course. Trispen turned out to be
a really good night if you ignored the mud and the
Combined Mess was also good fun, although with so
much going on during the evening the "crowds" were
a liitle thin on the ground.
We are constantly working on new material and with
a bit of luck and hard work should have another 10-
15 songs cracked by Christmas. Including some
seasonal stuff which we will looking at in the
very near future.
With the Holiday season on it's way, many of the
band will off here and there in the next couple of
months which means a bit of break but this weekend
sees us
working both saturday and Sunday which is almost a
first.
The good news is that the band really
seems to be getting it together now and every gig
is better than the last. Gigs are coming in
steadily and the future looks a little pink if not
rosey..

CLIC Gig on Saturday the 19th April

Chynowen Parc played a great Gig for CLIC (the
childrens charity) on Sat 19th April 2007. Thanks
to a lot of hard work by many people over £3000
was raised. As for the Band it was probably their
best yet. All we need now is a little more
work ..!!
